Privacy Policy — Nature Reach

Nature Reach (the “app”) is developed by Lý Mạnh Linh. The app helps children (about ages 5–9) and parents explore nature on maps: tap an animal, plant, or place, hear its name in the language being learned, and discover something interesting — mostly on-device.

1. Data stored on your device

The app stores locally on your device:

Discovery progress (animals, plants, or natural features / maps you have tapped)
How often a map is opened, how often discovered content is interacted with (taps, opening a detail page, tapping to hear the name again), and on-device Find it results (to show content that has become familiar: 3 correct in a row, Easy / Hard) — used for the parent Exploration activity page, behind the in-app parental gate
Language preferences (native language and learning language)
Light UI preferences (for example list vs world-hub browse mode)
Downloaded map media packs (if any) in the app’s storage

We do not require an account and do not operate a server that stores a child’s or parent’s personal profile.

2. Data sent over the network

Map pack downloads: Three free maps ship with the app. Additional maps may download media (detail images, voice-over, sounds) from cloud storage (Cloudflare R2 / CDN) after a map is unlocked. That traffic is the app’s public educational content — not a child’s name, email, or personal journal.
Support: If you email support, the message and the email address you use reach the developer inbox. Only when you contact us.

The app currently does not use tracking ads, does not use third-party product analytics, and does not sell data.

3. Speech / TTS

Names of animals, plants, natural features, and some short lines may play from pre-recorded voice in the app or from on-device system text-to-speech. We do not run our own speech-recognition servers; the app does not record a child to upload audio to our servers.

4. Device permissions

Nature Reach does not require camera, microphone, photo library, location, or contacts for core features.

5. Children

The app is directed at children (about ages 5–9; App Store Kids band 6–8) together with parents. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Learning progress stays on the device. In-app purchases, restore purchases, and opening external pages (privacy / terms / support) all go through an in-app parental gate (a short math question).

6. In-app purchases

Additional-map unlocks (one-time purchases) are processed by the platform’s in-app purchase system. We do not receive your payment card details. Unlock status is stored on the device after the store confirms the transaction; restore via Settings → Restore purchases with the same store account.
